in the Swiss mountains pics and images. Flims and Laax are two villages in the north-eastern Swiss Alps. In winter time it is a huge ski resort and in summer time you can enjoy hiking in the nature. It goes up to more then 3000 meters or 10'000 feet. In the top region of these mountains you'll also find the Martinsloch. It's a whole in the rock / mountain. On the other side of the mountains down in the valley there is a village called Elm. They built a church exactly at a position where twice a year the sun shines through the hole and illuminates the church for a few minutes while the rest of the village still is in the shadow of the mountains.
